Overview:
Volunteer McKinney is seeking a summer intern interested in gaining hands-on experience in the nonprofit and social impact sector. This role offers exposure to marketing, programs, community engagement, and basic operations while supporting volunteerism across Collin County.
Key Responsibilities:
Support programs, events, and volunteer initiatives
Assist with social media and communications
Help coordinate volunteers and track engagement
Provide basic administrative and digital support
Participate in weekly check-ins with leadership
Additional Expectations:
This is a hybrid role that includes some evening and weekend support for community events.
Ideal Candidate:
College students interested in nonprofit work, social entrepreneurship, or community impact who are organized, adaptable, and motivated to learn.
