Hope Clinic of McKinney is a non-profit, free medical clinic providing primary care, integrated behavioral health, and optometry to uninsured McKinney, Texas residents with household incomes at or below 200% of the federal poverty line. Hope Clinic has prioritized the development of a long-term financial stability plan to expand the clinic from part-time to full-time which will increase healthcare access and reduce waiting times for new patient appointments. To help Hope Clinic reach this goal, the Marketing and Fund Development VISTA will work closely with the Clinic’s Executive Director to develop a long-term financial sustainability program to support all operations, which at its heart is a medical home for the resource-challenged, uninsured members of our community. Major activities will include:
- Expand volunteer and donor outreach through social media platforms and community events,
- Increase fundraising capacity by supporting and formalizing the existing grant processes,
- Develop educational materials to assist the board and staff in fundraising efforts across the community,
- Build greater mission awareness and increase monthly contributions through support, coordination and execution of special fundraising, donor, and volunteer appreciation events, and
- Create donor relations and management process to retain key donors.
