Turlaxin' is Texas’ premier fall lacrosse tournament hosted by McKinney Lacrosse. It draws 200+ boys and girls teams from across the state to Bonnie Wenk Park near historic downtown McKinney, Texas. We need your help to make it a success!
We are looking for volunteers to work two hour shifts between 7AM and 7PM Saturday and Sunday on the weekends of October 19 & 20 and October 26 & 27.
Opportunities include:
- setup and teardown fields
- score keeping
- penalty clock
This opportunity is open to ages 16-80 years of age. The 7AM and 5PM shifts require the lifting and maneuvering of heavy equipment including goals and portable safety nets. All other the shifts involve mostly sitting. No experience is necessary, instruction on your assignment will be provided.
Wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and comfortable, closed toe shoes. Sunscreen and bug repellent are recommended as well as a refillable water bottle. Snacks will be provided.
Please be on time and check in with the site coordinator at the McKinney Lacrosse tent near the picnic tables on arrival. A GroupMe will be setup for event communications.
