Volunteer: Client Advisory Committee Member

Make a real difference in someone's life. Join our Intellectual Developmental Disabilities Client Advocacy Committee. The member would review and approve individual behavior plans/programs. These plans ensure that an individual receiving services rights are protected and that the program is meeting their needs in order to keep them safe and protected. This is a great chance to be an advocate and support someone with an intellectual developmental disability. Volunteers must have experience in working with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities. The Committee meets quarterly through Zoom. You must be 18 years of age.

Volunteer: LOSS Volunteers

We need some very special volunteers for our new Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors (LOSS) program.  The LOSS team volunteers are those who have been impacted by a suicide death or have a passion for suicide prevention.  Volunteers provide support and comfort to the family either at the scene or after the suicide and supply community resources and other materials.   A volunteer working closely with the bereaved may be someone who has experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide and uses their story of loss and recovery to connect with the person or persons who have lost a loved one to suicide.  We also need administrative assistance such as data entry, creating documents or organizing packets.  The schedule is flexible.
