Welcome to the “Hope Anchors the Soul” art contest! We welcome all ages 4 and up to participate. Here’s how it works:
Submit your art between June 1 and July 31, 2022. Between August 1 and August 14, we’ll hold a voting fundraiser! To vote, donations will be accepted in the following way: $5 for one vote, $20 for five votes, and $35 for ten votes. Winners will be announced on August 15, 2022.
Here’s how to enter:
You can enter a total of four submissions per person. There is no fee to enter. Simply fill out the art submission form and upload a photograph of the artwork no larger than 5MB by midnight on July 31.
We have three categories you can enter:
- Sidewalk Chalk Art
- 2D works including oil, acrylic, watercolor, ink, pencil, or charcoal
- 3D Designs.
And we have four divisions:
- Elementary
- Middle School
- High School
- Adult & Family
Group projects are only allowed in the adult & family division.
Winners will be announced on August 15, 2022.
Awards
Top winners for each category and division will be chosen based on the number of votes received. The top votes in each category and division will be used to create a calendar to be sold after the contest.
Winners will receive recognition on this website, a certificate, and a free 2023 calendar that features their artwork.
Additional Details (PLEASE READ)
This is a family-friendly art contest. No works that are controversial, obscene, sexual, or insensitive will be accepted. This will be at the sole and unfettered discretion of the board of directors of Little Hearts of Hope.
The theme of all artwork is “Hope Anchors the Soul” All submissions must be completed between the dates of June 1, 2022, and July 31, 2022. Artwork must be the single work of original material by the contest participant. By entering the Contest, participants represent, acknowledge, and warrant that the submitted artwork is an original work created solely by the entrant and that the artwork does not infringe on the copyright of any trademark, moral rights, right of privacy/publicity, or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim or interest in the artwork.
Artists grant permission for Little Hearts of Hope to reproduce his/her name, information describing his/her work, representations of his/her work, and any other information he/she has provided for the purpose of promotion, publicity, or fundraising now or in the future. Little Hearts of Hope may use digital images of artwork on their website, on social media, or in printed materials owned and produced by Little Hearts Hope. Artists retain ownership of their artwork, but grant an irrevocable and perpetual non-exclusive license to Little Hearts of Hope in any media now and hereafter for no compensation.
