Building Families For Tomorrow Gala Helps Women and Children in Kenya
Building Families For Tomorrow (BFFT), a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring families impacted by incarceration in Kenya, will host its annual fundraising gala, A Night of Hope, on April 25, 2026, in McKinney, Texas.
The elegant evening—hosted by Roy Ponder, iconic local weatherman—will bring together community leaders, business owners, churches, and individual supporters for a powerful night of storytelling and celebration. Proceeds from the gala will directly support women transitioning from prison and the children awaiting reunification with their mothers.
“This isn’t just about fundraising,” said Jana O’Guin, Founder of Building Families For Tomorrow, “it’s about restoration. We are watching families reunite, women step into dignity and purpose, and children experience safety and hope for the first time.”
Guests at A Night of Hope will enjoy an inspiring program featuring firsthand stories of transformation, dinner, live and silent auctions, and opportunities to partner in life-changing work overseas.
