Who We Are
A group of individuals passionate about nutrition and gardening in the city of McKinney! We feel everyone deserves to have fresh produce and eggs and we strive to see that those in need are receiving healthy options.
What We Do
We are a food donation garden for the food insecure of McKinney, TX. McKinney Roots is a volunteer based organization/ garden with volunteers coming out once a month to plant, harvest and more! The vegetables and fruits grown in the garden and eggs collected by our pasture raised chickens are donated to those in need. Helping in the garden makes a difference in their lives!
