Who We Are
"It's not about the Show!" is our motto! We want our students to learn important life skills through the process of rehearsal and performance such as integrity, discipline, creativity, communication skills, "being present," and social skills.
Our programs includes acting, voice, piano, dance, scout workshops, birthday parties, daytime performances for schools, therapeutic drama classes for youth and adults with development issues, productions with youth and adults, and all youth productions. Youth, ages 6 and up, perform in major productions such as Les Mis, Little Shop of Horrors, Disney's Little Mermaid, Annie, and Disney's Alice in Wonderland. In addition, MYT offers elementary acting classes and summer arts camps. The best way to get to know our program is to come see a performance. For a list of performances, go to www.mckinneyyouththeatre.com or call (972) 422-2575.
