McKinney Historic Half

Who We Are

We are a community-driven organization dedicated to creating meaningful running experiences that bring people together through movement, connection, and purpose. Through our events, we celebrate local communities, support charitable causes like Scottish Rite for Children, and inspire runners of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to create welcoming, memorable race experiences that strengthen the running community and encourage people to stay active.

What We Do

The McKinney Historic Half is a community-focused race celebrating health, history, and local pride in McKinney, Texas. The event features a Half Marathon, 5K, and Kid’s Dash, welcoming runners of all ages and abilities while showcasing the city’s historic downtown, neighborhoods, and park system. Organized by the team behind the Dallas Marathon, the race also supports Scottish Rite for Children and brings together runners, families, and the community for a memorable race-day experience.
