Shield Down

Shield Down is a 501(c)(3) veteran nonprofit, comprised of veterans and family members of veterans. We are based in McKinney, Texas, founded in 2024, with volunteers and efforts also in Florida, Michigan, Ohio, and Maryland.

Shield Down honors the legacies of fallen service members by providing grants and other support to their widows, children, and other dependents, that they may find renewed hope. Shield Down empowers veterans through meaningful peer-to-peer coaching and other support. Through these efforts, we work to create a community where veterans feel supported, valued, and content, living a life of renewed hope, and where families of our fallen heroes rest easy knowing the sacrifices of their heroes are never forgotten.
