The Gap at Sawmill Meadow

Our mission is to cultivate wholeness in new adults so they launch thriving in purpose and responsibility - BECAUSE they have taken a trail less traveled toward adulthood. After the co-founders walked with their oldest son through an unplanned departure from college, the need for many new adults to take time to practice being an adult before deciding a path forward was recognized. Matt and Tammy Dorsett created a space for their vision - to launch a community of new adults confident in their responsibilities and in the ways they love God, love themselves and love others.

We are a 9 month, intentional, gap year program operating in Colorado designed to facilitate experiences that promote independence with life skills and faith for 18-23 year old new adults from around the USA. We operate a 9 month session beginning in June and an abbreviated session also in June. We cater to new adults who aren't afraid to take a "trail less traveled" and recognize that the "best" path might not be the standard path.
