Who We Are
HSF provides Plano ISD graduates who have overcome adversity with scholarships and support services to promote success in life.
What We Do
Over the past 35 years, HSF has served over 485 students totaling over $3 million in tuition. Currently, we are serving 109 at-risk students enrolled in college, providing tuition assistance through multi-year college scholarships, renewable all the way to a bachelor’s degree, as well as a unique support system that provides ongoing guidance to students to successfully navigate within the college environment.
Each student is assigned a Success Coach to mentor them throughout their college journey. Our Student Coordinators provide academic counseling and career guidance. Our workshops teach life skills, networking, leadership skills, financial literacy, and personal development. We hold our students accountable by requiring: • minimum GPA • participation in workshops • mandatory communication with Success Coach • maintaining tutoring log • submission of grades and class schedules every semester
