Wellness Center for Older Adults

The Wellness Center for Older Adults is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, and in its 35^th year of serving the senior citizens of Collin County.  The center maintains a staff of highly trained and licensed professionals. 

Our Mission is to help older adults achieve their highest level of physical, mental, and spiritaul well-being.

Our Goal is to help our community age well by providing services for senior adults and their caregivers.

The Wellness Center for Older Adults accomplishes it's mission by providing the following services: 

• Preventive Nursing Services for Seniors 55+
• Individual and Group Caregiver Counseling
• Caregiver Informational Sessions
• Project Independence for Non-Medical Assistance for Seniors 60+ at risk of, or after a hospital discharge
• Caregiver and Mental Aerobics Support Groups
• Memory Café for Caregivers and Care Recipients with Dementia
• Resource Referrals/Benefits Counseling with a Social Worker
• Free Lending of Durable Medical Equipment
• Nursing Care including Foot and Hand Nail Care, Ear Cleaning and Blood Lab testing
