Our Founder/Executive Director, Lizzie Butler, struggled with addiction for many years until she got clean and sober in May 2017. Her own experience makes her uniquely qualified to help others and she made the decision that she wanted to help other women recover from the deadly disease of addiction and alcoholism.  That's when she founded Silver Linings sober living.

Co-founder/Board President, Stephanie Kelly, has a passion for helping those fighting addiction because of her personal experience with having an adult child battling addiction. She knows the fears, frustrations, and pain of wanting a loved one to break free of addiction’s hold and how powerless that can feel. She and Lizzie are committed to helping those battling addiction begin to thrive.  Stephanie is especially interested in helping families of addicts and alcoholics navigate the fears and frustrations that come with having a loved one in active substance abuse and early recovery.

Silver Linings is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that provides sober living homes for women in Plano, Texas. The founders of Silver Linings believe that every woman needs a structured environment to start their recovery journey and to feel supported and encouraged along the way. We strive to provide a personalized and supportive experience on the journey to transforming and thriving!
