Heritage Farmstead Museum of Plano

Who We Are

Our mission is to interpret farm life and agricultural history for people to see what life was like for the North Texas farmer in the 1890s. The museum includes the historic Farrell-Wilson Home, the Young House, a one-room schoolhouse, a blacksmith shed, a historic prairie garden and so much more.

What We Do

The museum interprets farm life and agricultural history from the 1890s. We offer school programs and field trips, put on special events during the year, and are open Thursdays-Saturdays for self-guided tours.
